Pool Pros of West Tennessee ("we," "us") is a directory and matching service that helps homeowners find pool companies in West Tennessee. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to poolprosofwesttn.com, estimate.poolprosofwesttn.com, and the estimator and Match Now tools on them.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
From homeowners who use our forms. When you use the cost estimator, the pool health assessment or Match Now, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, the type of project, your timeline and budget range, answers about your pool, and any notes you add. We also record whether you agreed to share your details with a company and whether you agreed to receive our own marketing.
From contractors. If you list your company or pay us, we collect your business name, contact details, service area, services offered, license information you provide, and billing details. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on our servers.
Automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, links clicked and the page that referred you. We use cookies and similar technologies for this (see section 6).
Public information. Company listings on our site use publicly available business information, including publicly listed Google ratings and review counts. We do not collect reviews directly from you on this site.
3. How we use information
- To provide the estimator, assessment and Match Now tools and show you results.
- To send your request to the companies you choose, or to companies we match you with.
- To contact you about your request, including to confirm that a company reached out.
- To run, secure and improve the site, prevent spam and fraud, and measure how our pages and advertising perform.
- To send you our own tips or offers if you opted in. You can opt out at any time.
- To process payments and manage contractor accounts.
- To comply with the law and enforce our terms.
4. How we share information
With pool companies you are matched with. When you submit Match Now or another request form and agree to share your information, we send your name, contact details, ZIP code and project details to the company you selected and, if you chose that option, to other companies we match you with. Those companies may contact you by phone, text or email about your request. They use your information under their own privacy practices.
With service providers that help us operate the site: hosting and application providers (including Base44, which runs our lead and estimator application), analytics and advertising providers (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads), and payment processing (Stripe). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
For legal reasons such as responding to a lawful request, protecting our rights or users, or in a business sale or merger.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Calls and text messages
When you submit a request and tick the consent box, you agree that the company you are matched with may contact you at the phone number and email you gave, including by call or text, about your request. You also agree that we may follow up by text or email to check that you were contacted and whether you hired the company. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of using our site; you can instead use our directory to find a company and contact it yourself. You can ask a company to stop contacting you, and you can reply STOP to a text.
6. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar tools from Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
7. How long we keep information
We keep request details and contractor records only as long as needed for the purposes above, for example up to 24 months for homeowner requests unless you ask us to delete them sooner, and as the law requires.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing, by emailing directory@poolprosofwesttn.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as the law requires. Companies you were matched with hold their own copies, and you would need to contact them separately.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or transmission is completely secure.
10. Children
Our site is for adults who own or manage property. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Links to other sites
Our pages link to Google Maps, company profiles and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
